Why?

I get asked why I decided to start this online real estate company all the time. I had previously worked for a company (that I was very happy with) that had very low transaction fees, a comfortable office and a large following of agents. The main problem is that they did not provide me with any leads/business and after a while, I started to feel that I was "just another number". During my 2.5 year tenure there, I came across many "old timers" in this business---many of whom were living from transaction to transaction. Many of these same people did not embrace change, nor did they welcome technology---the same technology that offered them the tools to take their business to the next level.

Change of any kind can be uncomfortable, however those that don't embrace it are left to Darwinian theory that goes something like this:

NOT EMBRACING CHANGE = EXTINCTION

The move from Passport to MLXchange (notice change in the name) created a big uproar in the industry and in my former real estate office I heard comments from 20+ year veteran agents saying "Why do they always have to change the system? I just got used to the old one"----

I don' t know about you, but Bill Gates (the richest man on this planet) would have still been selling his operating system to IBM if he didn't apply his ideas and embrace technology. Just as he does, we at Bid4Agents.com Realty believe that we are the new face of the future of Real Estate.

Our company is taking all the folklore out of how an agent should "behave" or "interact" with a client. We offer agents the tools to become successful---because if our agents aren't, we loose money!

The internet was a true revolution on how we look and process information. Our company uses the internet to keep our lead flow constant and to keep our overhead to a minimum. We are not in the business of making money off our agents by charging them "office rent". We are in the home buying/selling business, not in the agent leasing business.
